Results:6,5,2lb. bass 1lb. golden gray mullet (foulhooked) :shock:

Catch and Release:: Yes/kept 1 for the pot.

best day out in a while had 20/25 follows sometimes 2/3 at same time lost 3 got 3 missed 10/12 hits, as i played 1 fish 3 others followed took a pic. did not come out,glare on the water...
its like bone fishin when its bright and little wind, spotted fish up to 40/50 meter tomorrow the forecast is much the same guess? were i am going.

just the schoolie and 1 other than escaped+follows, spent most of the day popping over the tressels. had a good day was meeting fish almost few mins. lost 2 trying to pick them up, might start bring the landin net. seen 40/50 bass most 3lb.+, the sammy is battered. i only fished the area we went to last time, know that channel we crossed, have got 20 there since.

Do you find that you often foul hook golden grey mullet? In my experience, they take aggressively, but often fail to get the hook in their mouth, and hook themselves around the head or flank, possibly as they turn on the lure. This has happened to me quite frequently while fly fishing.

S. could be the case, have fouled 5/6 this yr. have not had any grays and they are a lot more common.. often see G.G.s follow when i use flyin Cs.
