Report:Had been down and met Cortaz at the start of the week and got a few fish. He has me down as FCMY. Have to think of something more interesting than my initials to save confusion. Anyway sneaked back down but had fully expected to see Cortaz and spinner but they didn't show so must have been fishing elsewhere. All 3 fish hooked in last hour after the start of the flood. Long drive but the results worth it.

fran, was it down towards the wreck u fished, i went out to the extream right to get razor fish, had to bring the rod, 2th. cast got a 3lber. lost 1 bigger after only fished for 20 mins. going out there now wont be back till 7 p.m.

I had been over that far and even had a chuck in the channel. Saw a couple of boys fishing the other side below the golf course and thought that might have been you. Got all 3 hookups on the way back from the wreck. All within a hundred yards and on the cleaner ground after you leave the weedier stuff nearer the wreck. I was still well past the midway point from the carpark a couple of hundred yards from one of the big yellow stakes.

meant to say the bass i lost like the one on Monday was the best of the day 5+. Had it by the lip, big wriggle, treble in me and fish dropped. Have to get one of those wee hand nets.
