Report:The mate had spotted a potential mark the week prior when out hillwalking so we decided to go have a look. It is in area of cliffs and that if you were to look at the OS map you would think there would be nowhere to gain access to the waters edge.
After a good 40 mins cross country over bog we got to the height above it and lo and behold we were fit to pick a route down. Bit hairy at one particular point as the slope narrowed to about three feet with a long drop into the sea either side  The main ledge was around 12ft above the water but a slight slope to the left led down onto a much smaller ledge only two feet above the water. Happy days! We only had the spinning rods with us so options were limited but in the few hours we were there we picked up 6 species. Better still casting a set of shrimpers out as far as I could I think the bottom outside of 40 yards is clean sand, let it sit out there and dragged it slowly along the bottom and didn't get snagged at all. Well chuffed, sand and rough and it took around 10 to 15 seconds for the lead to hit bottom so its about the same depth as the rocks at Teelin.
Cant wait to go back in with the beachcasters and plenty of bait :P Goes to show that there are marks out there that are still waiting to be explored and discovered. Only problem was the midges.....got absolutely destroyed :x Feckers had the face ate off me in no time. :x

Will post up some pics next time we head in...hopefully with some fish  JD Im gonna have to send em' to you as i can't upload from this PC.
Adam I had a bucket of crab to try for the wrasse but I would have had to fish them of the lower ledge and there was no way the midges were going to let me. Should be some good ones on it.
