Report:
Mad to fish went to Cunnigar on Advice of Cortaz, 2hrs before full tide lots of fish jumping but apparently only golden grey mullet. All three of us bottom fished using ledgers with lug. The weed was a major problem (sticky brown clumps). I went spinning which I gave up after an hour the only follow I had was on the Kilty. About 5pm Thierry all the way from France brought in a large clump of weed, as he did so we noticed a decent fish jumping. He had a nice Gilt headed Bream (see pic) his first and the first I have seen in the flesh. A very nice fish beautiful colours and approx 2lb. It became unfishable up to high tide so we packed up but happy to have gotton something when it looked impossible. No one else about as all were watching Waterford suffer in Croker.
