Report: Nice evenings fishing, had the first good hound on the beach well before dark.. Pity I didn't have the scales with me cause he looked like a really nice fish and fought really hard.. Best scrap so far this summer and not the biggest fish I have had... Hard to figure some of them fight like the devil others just take it handy, bit like ourselves really!! Beach was kind of busy before dark lots of stupid questions!! But its part of the deal I guess... Over all a really good session just a bit slow thought we would see a few more fish...Pics to Follow too tierd to be botherd now!!!! Off to the Nest!

nice one.. had some good size smoothies around that area a few weeks back. strangely they all went for ragworm.. good to see they are back on crabs again..

as for stupid questions.. were all fishermen.. we can all sympathise with you there..

steve, some of us have run out of crab and there isn't another moult for a while, so id prefer to see them tacking rag as thats easy to collect. :(

ive caught on both, thery have been caught on mack strip with a few crab legs 2 i hear

Yeah had a few on rag!!! But the better fish all seem to come to Crab.. Off again today having to travel to pull a few crab bt sure its worth it going to tinneberna tonight had some great fishing hre on the coming tide!!

Had a few to about 5 and half pounds up a the point last night. All to peeler.

yeah hard to find the big lads heading up the coast tonight with a bucket of fresh crab!!! Oh yeah now this is why I get up and work so i can do this!!! Will prob fish Tinneberna..

you should set up smoothie school for us hopeless fishermen, 3 in 12 years aint bad right :(
