took a walk along the cliffs lookin for new ground found a cove that i had been lookin for,bit of a hike but worth it, mate had a wrass of 3/4lb. on a kilty :shock: a first. had a cast and got a wrass myself :shock: :o after that we had lots of pollock/macks nothing big up to about 3.5lb. seen a few bass follow inc. 2 at the same time, both looked to be around 10lb.
the highlight of the day was gettin whitin 10 ft. of a peregrine falcon got some nice pics. there was 4 of em 2 adults 2 chicks.

not tryint to be a stick in the mud,
but as someone who enjoys all nature, we shouldn't post the nest site of peregrines due to egg collecting,
we wouldn't like it if some birdwatcher was pointing out our most secret marks....

when i heard that peregrines were gettin scarce i went out and got a few eggs before they were all gone!!... :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :shock:

no need to worry, theres lots of falcons about, see them most days i go rock fishin.
ever visit [url=http://www.birds.ie/]www. birds ireland[/url], they give detailed locations of all sorts of species of birds, eagles included, there not worried...
