Hi Greengiant,

Were the pollock of any size? What way do you use these jelly worms,ie hook them, trace, etc? I hav fished this place a few times before, usually spinning. Have caught the odd small pollock and mackerel, and if ground fishing I use sandeel and or mackerel, seem to only manage dogfish!

Thanks.

they were around 2-3lbs. i use the jelly worms on a lead-head (ie a hook with lead attached to it) and jigged it slowly along the bottom in the small cove to the left. as for a trace just tie it on you dont need any extra weight and it doesnt spin so you dont need a swivel . the hooks on a lead-head point upwards so they dont tend to snag. for bait fishing i would try some crab cause there has got to be some wrasse there.
