Report:
nothing spectacular about the fishing none of the fish were more than 1lb.
it went quiet when the tide was full and the other lads headed off i stayed on in the hope of a ray but no luck
the basking shark appeared at about 10.45 and was still there when i left it came so close to the pier at times i could have touched it with the rod tip.it was about 15-18ft long so a juvenile i suppose.
thats the great thing about sea angling you never know what will turn up when you're out. :)
this is the first one i have seen around the pier for about 4 years.
Sorry about the pics they were taken on my phone and every time it was up on the surface the sun was so strong i couldn't see it on the screen. :x
