Report: having fished all morn and yesterday trying new marks and testing a few new flies i needed to get some fish so tried my banker pollack mark. brought along the 4wt rod along with the regular 10 wt as there is some very big rock pools full of mini species that i want to add to my fly caught list. weather was p erfect with the strong breeze which had blown alday gone, had 2 pollack on successive casts to a spreader fly (i'l post a pic in the swff forum). got the blenny on a size 8 longshank bead headed hares ear. flicked it into one of the rock pools, let it settle on the bottom, gave it a few tweaks and a blenny shot out and nailed it. first one on a fly!!!!, gotta get some wrasse next...ahavnt had one yet this year.
