Catch and Release:: Yep

Report:

started fishing about half six on the north side of the estuary, only really went down to try out my new spinnin rod, saw a few fish rising but after a while i realised they were out of my casting range, moved on to another spot and landed a small sea trout after changing from a spinner to a small sandeel lure, about a pound in weight, great little scrapper tho on light gear

Hi ya,

Was down there myself for about an hour over low water. That was me flailing about with the fly rod… :? (Got to practice) No one else had caught anything by the time I had left.
Never seen so many people fishing the spot counted about 12 people.. and the seal…
Only excitement was when a bigger fish jumped.. Suspect he was just giving us the fin… :lol: canny feckers..

All the best might give tonight a go..

If I get the permission slip from her self of course…

yeah saw ya wit your fly rod, thought about bringin mine down but havint quite mastered casting it further then my nose yet haha, i was on the grassy out point down from you, then i headed round the corner and further down towards the sea, thats where i caught one, theres plenty of big sea trout running down there now, they dont seem to be too hungry tho, keep an eye up near the swans and up river around june/july, always shoals of big mullet around then..(mod edit)
