Report:

John picked me around half 6 and then pookie. We went up to pick up pookies new rod. I will let pookie tell ya all about his new Grauvel.

Arrived at mark around 8pm and got set up to fish shortly after. I set up three hook flappers to try scratch a few a flounders out for dusk. Sadly no flounders showed up.

About half and hour after dark I got a nice coalie then shortly followed by a pollock. John got a shore rockling about the same time as my coalie. I think I missed a couple of bites. I decicded to double tap with a pulley rig and 3 hook flapper on one of the rods.
I baited up a sandeel on the the clipped down pulley. I used up 4 sandeel on a size 2/0 hook with baiting elastic. On each retrieve the hook came back empty.

sadly time was getting on and with not much worm left we packed and were on the road for 11.50pm

For all those who interested in the debate of the 3 of us casting. well! john brought down his 50m tape to measure out a lovely casting court.
With light fading we only had one cast each:

John was to go first Hitting around 90 yards. I think it was a new personal best!! well done john!!

I went second. With a light of the ground cast it measured in around 140 yards.

Last but not least. Pookie measured in about 20 yards with 3 snap off with the line getting wrapped round the top of the eye.

All in all a great night. Wish I was off today and we could have stayed out later.
