Bait: frozen sandeels, squid, fresh mack, spinning, jelly worms
Rigs: simple pater noster, sliding rig,
Results: 4 doggies, 2 1lb pollack, 3 tiddler pollack
Catch and Release:: Yes/No
Report:
Just got snatches of time when I could fish.
Spent 1.5 hours spinning a toby one morning, had four pollack in five casts (at almost exactly sunrise), not even a bite outside of that patch.
Fished that evening with cuzs, no results spinning, or with jelly worms.
Lots of bites on the bait, but over the rough ground lost some fish along with tackle, probably doggies, as we had one up on the rocks caught by the tail :shock:
Next chance caught more doggies, very keen on sandeel wrapped in squid!
Finished off catching another doggie on the same bait.
Also caught a decent little pollack on a jelly worm.
All told happy to catch anything, will be spinning with jelly worms again as they deffo have attraction for these kelp dwellers!
