Report:
My neighbour from across the street has been talking to me about fishing a lot recently - he's been fly fishing for trout so I invited him out for a go on a beach.

Glenarm is usually quite reliable for a few dogs at this time of year but I knew the tide would not work in our fever - what the hell - go for it...

The sea was calm flat when we arrived, temperature around 11'c so I reckoned the dogs would come on the feed around dark - no joy

We fished on til 23.00 with me landing the only fish of the night but it struggled to make 15cms!!

I was disappointed that I couldn't help Owen to get a fish on his first Beachcasting trip but - that's fishing for you.... Still, I was talking to him earlier and he told me that he was down at Ardglass today and managed to land a couple of fish - I think I have converted him
