Unlucky Keith,
Was thinking of hitting it myself. Did you get fish off it at this time last year :?: Fished it a few times myself in October and had a few. Found the first two hours of the flood to be better, except on big spring tides, then they can hit anytime.

mac, how are things! yeah the night before paddys day last year myself and another guy had one each no great size or anything just 2 schoolies about the 2 pound mark. mid april is when they begin to show in numbers. yeah bigger tides do tend to fish better except at low water when its literally a foot deep for 300 yards. seen a couple of sea trout movin around up there on sunday too. i was standing in 2 inches of water just before we finished up and right beside us qbout 30 sandeels erupted out of the sand and swam off, big lads 6 - 7 inches long. ya can bet thats what the sea trout are feeding on!
