People:Me and Conor
Duration:14:00 to 20:00
Tide:High at 16:45
Weather:Beautiful, bright and NO breeze at all. Temp very mild
Bait:Squid, Mackerel and Sand eels
Rigs:Two hook then because of the snags one hook flappers
Results:Nil
Catch and Release:: Yes/No
Report:Beautiful conditions ... but probably not for fishing. Quite a few anglers on the small pier. I've never fished here so tried short and long (for me about 60meters) casts. The current was of course very strong so my bait was a lot closer in. Not a single bite for anyone. Lost a pile of rigs and weights:-(

I was fishing the strangford side at the same time harry ,nothing but crabs and big limps of kelp ,though did have one deffinet bite .
Only excitement came from hooking a diver on the mini rod :lol: great craic for about 40 seconds before he cut the line :twisted: ,that'll teach him to swim under were some one is fishing ,thought i had a couple of bites ,struck into it and everything went solid then swam of ,it took a few seconds for me to realise what had happened ,then i just enjoyed the fight .
