There were some posts here that were completely unacceptable. I removed them yesterday and banned the users.

If there is a repeat I will send the log files and offending posts to the ISP. The ISP can then adjudicate whether the user is in breach of the terms and conditions of service.

well done there is no call for abuse like that online

yea but if the fishins good i'll fish............. near had the head blown off me, but you cant beat the good old donaghadee 3lb coalie

dan if you fish the dee with a strong east wind with the spray coming over the wall the fishing can be good. lots of codling and flats at mouth but try in beside the lifeboat the dogs will shelter in the calmer water. make sure you have the waterproofs

cheers for that davy. what about congers any advice there, last time i fished it i missed a good 20lber casting out to the life boat got it on the surface and it began thrash about and the barbless size 6/0 hook came out
surprise, surprise.

the congers are usually caught close to the wall from the light round to the back of the harbour wall. i seen a photo of a genuine 25 lb plus eel caught round the back of the wall during the summer during daylight. ive had my best results about 5-10m out of the light on an ebb tide.
