dan if you fish the dee with a strong east wind with the spray coming over the wall the fishing can be good. lots of codling and flats at mouth but try in beside the lifeboat the dogs will shelter in the calmer water. make sure you have the waterproofs

the congers are usually caught close to the wall from the light round to the back of the harbour wall. i seen a photo of a genuine 25 lb plus eel caught round the back of the wall during the summer during daylight. ive had my best results about 5-10m out of the light on an ebb tide.
