All down past where the Ship was moored was pulling them in aswell. Don't think I've ever seen so many caught.

The pictures are great ,I used to rent a house somewhere near you I had the same view from my bedroom window ,it was amazing to see the shoals I remember seeing a break that stretched from the train station to the main town harbour

,I've never seen shoals like that anywhere else

I think one of the resident rat's might have gotten a hold cause I only had 7 on the way home

fantastic pics allright. It was fun night with everyone catching, band playing in the background as the ship left. The way the ship turned in the harbour to go out was amazing.

Loads of Mackerel caught yesterday Friday 9th at balskadden rocks especially at high tide.

They were all over the place in Cobh tonight, not just off the piers but at the beaches of Cuskinny, Glenmore, Ballybrasil, & Marlogue. It's just bananas!!!

I was out in the harbour yesterday and it was nuts alright, we were trying to catch a pollock or two, but just couldn't get past the mackerel, they were hitting everything at all depths. There was a huge amount of activity near Fort Carlisle area. Nice to see so many mackies as they seemed scarce enough in recent years.
