If anyone who has not been here before is thinking about going - one piece of advice would be - don't go alone and make sure you let people know where you are going.

Are there any plans for a Northern Meet at this mark anytime soon???

with regards the rig for spinning we began using clipped rigs for this this summeron the rock marks down here that require a little bit more distance to get at the pollock.

its quite simple really, you take ure standard 2 ounce ball lead (not a drilled bullet) and drill a 2 mm hole through it. then take a piece of 2.0mm gauge stainless wire and push through the hole. leave approx 15mm of the wire passing out one side of the lead and have the other end of the wire flush with the other side of the lead, heat the side of the lead where the wire is flush to close off and seal the wire and on the other side bend the wire into a u shape to act as a clip. then when casting clip use hook onto this "bait clip" and cast. we reckon our casting increased 10-15 yards, made a difference in the places we fish.
