actually marno he gave out alot of information to the aspiring bass angler
he gave time of day and thereby the state of the tide. he demonstrated the need to keep moving as bass don't stay in one place for any period of time

He fished sunrise and sunset something I must try myself. finally he demonstrated the need to be nice on the forum so you'll make friends and they will give you tips and advice and eventually spots :D

also there are 2 possibly 3 different spinners being used in the photographs and another suggestion by cortaz.

note the colour of the lures

there is enough information from the report to make an educated guess as to where it might be

you need to research more.

To be fair marno I suppose you have a point. It wasnt meant to be a boast but more like encouragement to other angles to get out there and give it a go. The main reason I didnt post the marks is poaching and bass anglers who keep all their catch. I actually sent about 6 people on this site pm's with the exact locations where I caught the fish including one or two really good spots after they asked me. I have no problem doing that but will only send them to regulars and people who I know wouldnt abuse the information or pass it on to the wrong people.
As you can see there are allot of anglers on this site who feel the same but as the lads pointed out there is tons of info in the post if ye read it carefully as fenitbob pointed out for you.
Without trying to sound condescending I will gladly help you out with some names of lures, best times and tides, typical locations etc for bass if you want. I only fish for bass and have done so for years so forgive me if I seem a bit protective of locations.

Grow up you prat and then go back and read what I posted in relation to your comment. You took it out of context and not for the first time had to be put in your place by a few people on this board.

Once again you have posted a comment which lends nothing to the original post and seeks only to cause trouble. I told you before if you have a problem to send a PM as you clearly have a chip on your shoulder with me.

I think its unfair to say that this report has been added for boasting purposes - I've found all of Eoghan's reports this year really interesting and informative (especially his attempts at the east-coast bass).

Personally, on a recent trip to Kerry I PM'ed him and he was only too happy to point me in the right direction for one of his bass marks, as well as the location of the local bait beds and the best tides to fish. I couldn't have hoped for more help...

If not posting the exact whereabouts of his fishing marks to the general public makes life a little harder for the netters, thats fine by me!

Eoghan great pictures and good fish what more could you want in a report :D As for keeping marks to yourself Eoghan was one of the first to offer to PM marks to me when i posted a report about Kerry this Summer after i had a bad session down Castlegregory(another bad session  )and i find alot of guys willing to offer info over PM's....and long may it continue :D .Eoghan keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the feedback lads, appreciate that.
I think most anglers will refrain from putting a good bass mark up for all to see to will gladly PM a regular angler on the forum. At least that way we can stop some valuable info getting into the wrong hands.

i agee totally with that,i have put up a few reports, but never tell all as i say,ive got a few marks and some are top secret,i dont want to go to a mark and find guys there fishing for bass, killing every thing they get to sell and make a few quid, any ways nice session, did you fish that mark i told you about.ivan

Hi Ivan, we never got over to that side. The fishing was too good and as you know its hard to walk away from a mark that is producing. Will save that for next time as another angler also told me about it.
I was speaking to Bob Moss before and he too said it to me so its on my hit list.
Wouldnt mind getting down there again before the year is out and while its still warm.

Cheers mate, ye have to get down there sometime and check it out. Makes it worth while when you plan a trip like that and it pays off. Kerry very rarely lets you down. I have been saying for years I was born in the wrong county..!!!

Eoghan, BTW boast away you deserve to  for me I won't get a chance to fish for a while never mind boast  You can tell what standard of angler I am by the fact that I missed the information you did post (bar the lure) and I don't think your offer of advice is anyway condescending this is precisely what I think this section of the site is for and I understand completely (as I think I indicated in the post) re broadcasting hot marks. I just think there should be something 'educational' in a shore report.

I was slightly apprehensive posting in case it turned into a 'bitch thread' I am glad to see it by tone of the replies it hasn't.

Good Luck,

David

Not at all mate, like I said it was a valid point so next time I will try to have a more educational post rather than look at me and all the fish I caught..! :D

Being serious though I dont put up half of my catch reports and really only posted this one as I had PM'd a few guys on the site about these marks and they had asked me to let them know how I got on. Rather than PM each of them I thought a post would be quicker.
