hey merv,i dont spin all the time,i use bait as well, depends on were im at on the day.ive found that bass will take almost anything you put in front of them, ive proved it time and time again,if they are there you will get em,my son and i have even had them on black flying c,s in the early days of fishing for them in co.kerry.go back to where you got that one and think about it,one tip i can give you is start using braid, the take is absolute fab,its so instant and you are feeling the full power of the fish, thats were i get my kicks merv the take,i dont care if i loose them its the take.. :D

It's not worth posting on bass sessions these days - someone is just dying to come out of the woodwork to attack you.
hey steve, well put,at the end of the day is it worth putting any good sessions on?

IMO it should be worth posting as I for one enjoy reading about other's success. It does piss me off though to see the inevitable replies calling for each fish to be released. What's the harm in taking a fish for the table? Different story if its wholesale slaughter, but I will never be ashamed to say I took one fish from a session home to eat. If that makes me less of an angler in some peoples eyes then so be it.
