I saw it before the "cloud" came in and its a fairly famous bass beach so in fairness I don't really think the lads are letting to many secrets out by putting a couple of photos on the web.

I hardly think Inch is a well kept secret for Bass now is it..???
It would be very hard to string nets on the beach as it is surfed regularly and nets would not hold up.

Eoghan I fish surf beaches quite a lot and you not being from an area which has a surf beach have not got a clue about what happens when a place is known to be fishing well and another thing have you ever seen the trawler coming right by Leahinch at night within casting distance well I dont think you have and if I was you id do my research and mind your business before you think you can pass comment on my post lol typical from someone who thinks he knows about surf beaches.............

Oh wouldn't they? about 3 weeks ago in Fermoyle A guy drove down the beachin a 4wd and put out a net infront of loads of people. stayed in his car waiting for the sea to cover the net. no one surfs at night.

I'm afraid thats exactly what they do. Its ok to mention the name any way I'm sure word has got out before this and I recognised it from the photo as well.

Still its nice to see someone have a good nights fishing though :) keeps the hope up.

didn't mean this to sound like a flame. if it does I'm sorry just saying what I've seen.

Easy lads.In fairness I don't think we mentioned any specific mark and in any case I think Donaghs comment is a valid one in that it could be any one of 3-4 famous surf beaches in Kerry. While I have seen a couple of nets before at this venue thay have never been within a long mile of where we have fished before or on this occasion.I think it was a unique nights bass fishing(with not a small amount of skill involved  ) as in all the years of fishing at this mark I have never had a better bass session.
I don't think our report will lead to mass fishing by trawlers.Maybe just a few of you lads.

A bit touchy arent we..? If you are going to spout off like that then send me a personal message and dont start throwing your toys out of the pram and ruining it for other people on the board.

I was defending Sean for posting a pic of the beach. The surf beaches in Kerry are hardly a big secret to poachers.

Also I dont know why you just posted a smiley, grow up mate.

Keep posting the good reports sean , The more people read them the more go fishing, so more chance of people seeing poaching going on ,maybe then the fisheries people will get a few more phone calls and get of their asses to do something !
