I stopped off at the pier on Sunday afternoon on my way home from the BASC Game Fair in Ballywalter. It looks like a cracking venue. I can't believe I've never given it a go.
Question. I generally spin/float fish and have started SWFF this year. Would the back of the pier be a suitable venue for SWFF? To my untrained eye it looks perfect for pollack, mackeral etc.

Have fished further round just past the bus station in a boat 30 yards offshore. Good kelpy ground and plenty of pollack. Rocks are easily accessible ans should offer a good spot for SWFF.
