haahahha , thats exactly what he said to me haha , think he got his first specimen in the early 70s , thornback ray if i remember correctly, and the one before the flounder was a 75lb stingray , thanks lads :)

Specimen size is 1.1kg or 2.42lbs. This time of year a 43cm fish will be very close. They are starting to pack on weight now prior to a spring spawn. Last year I weighted a 47cm fish there. It was 3lb 10oz the angler didn't want to claim, he was just curious of the weight.

thanks a mill for all the comments lads, i will have to head down to him and set up the laptop and show him hahaa he wouldnt be great on the whole computer things etc etc hahahaaha, im delighted for him because i know how much it ment to him to get his 10th specimen

you obviously know him hahha :) yea he has been after the 10 for yrs now, every trip i go on with him he always said ..."im just after specimens tonight" lol

no better way , lol , sure like the old superstition , ya wont catch a thing when fishing killoughter unless you drop into the bridge bar for "the one before ya hit the beach "
