All thats needed to claim is for lots of photos and the fish to be weighed on certified scales oh and length and grith..
Could be worth looking into getting your scales certified just incase you catch it again

I think I read somewhere that for a smoothound or a tope a photo showing a clear view of the tail were needed, which you have.

fantastic hound ,you have a picture that i,m sure will look a lot more impressive than a bit of paper in a frame ,any gobdore can see its a STONKA!!!!!
and unlike recent pictures in the paper of monster fish yours is out their making baby,s and crushin crab ,not full of sawdust in a pub
