Is Bass an all year round fish ?

hi ed you can get them most of the year around some spots down south and around the kerry coast

No, it's not. There's a closed season from the middle of May to the middle of June.

Yeah the poor ol Cork/waterford boyos are havin a hard time of it these days with the cod gone!! they'll just have to put up with ray bas pollock coalies etc.. etc.. BUT at least we have pin whitting

Well done lads glad you caught Some fish, that mark is probably one of the best known marks in waterford often seen 6-7 groups of lads fishing it and blanking, timing was good though nice and mild, lug is a must me thinks cheers to cortaz for the bait supply fine magic worms

Was talkin with Sparkey last night he already ate his (i bet he was gnawing on it all the way home)

Nice fishing lads guess all roads will start to lead south now .Hopefully the next trip will produce some bigger fish for ye as that beach does have a few from time to time.

May i suggest a cookery book maybe one of Darina Allen's or Jamie Oliver's im sure you will find a few pics and nice recipes they are cookery books afterall and not fishing report sections
