dont no leadhead,,was looking in specimen book,biggest was caught in redbay 1.63 Ibs and 37.5 cm long and the smallest waight was 1.25 Ibs 37cm long,,,,im sorry i didnt waigh her now she looked a good size................cheers again lads,,,,,,,,,,,,,

thanx dan,,,come up anytime for a cast,i,ll have the bait ready !!!

Where is Red Bay :?: I was looking at the specimen book and there ALOT of entries of various species for Red Bay??

There's a redbay harbour in Antrim

Red Bay in Co Antrim continued to set the pace for many of our marine species. Jan Vrieswijk from Holland created a new record for blackmouth dogfish of 1.33kg and Albert Koawenhourn, also from Holland, pipped the one-year-old record for spur dogfish by just 0.17kg. Of the 107 specimens claimed, 78 were caught in Red Bay. Irish Times...

Agreed a big fat one at that too. Try a size six at that mark and you might pick up more or maybe one of the other mini wrasse. Bulk up the species.
