I'll second Mr West, (although he didnt get a doggie photo!! 
) Plaice it be, but I have seen flounder with lesser spots But the ol plaice is more vivid, However I was reading a very good article in the Irish Angler sometime back and a serious research project took place regarding Hybrids of Plaice, Flounder and, Dabs, ...Flounder seem happy to go off with anything (makes ya think about swimming doesnt it!!, I mean, we heard about the testicle eating fish, and now our own "Happy" flounders!!!) Well seemingly Dabs and Plaice like to stick to their own but have been presuaded by flounders! 
Whats next for the flounder... A across between Mackerel and flounder??
