runkerry in a terrible place for weeds but i fished it a few time in august - september and was good with a spinner or floating with ragworm and sandeels. theres a place where you can only get to at low tide which seemed to be packed with pollack but at this time of year it would be suicide trying to get to it.

around dunseverick is better than runkerry in my opinion ( i only fished runkerry because i didnt know anywhere else to go  )

get on round to the blue pool in Portrush or further down towards the beach & the old lifeboat launch as whiting down there nights on the mackeril, failing that Portrush harbour both sides with the less fished side being more learner friendly & occasionally throwing up a surprise or two!!
