Congratulations, that's a very nice Bass indeed. That's a few nice fish that have been caught from the Waterford area over the past week or so, it's good to see.
Crab is proving to be the number one bait to use for catching bass down that way, imagine if you had've caught it on a plug or lure then you really would have had a fight on your hands.

nice fish ,tell you one thing though catch and release gets addictive,if i was a young fella and i got that fish i would have been taking it home with me as well though.

excellent fish mate.about 8 1/2 lb was my biggest in 35 years. so i dont think they come along too often. so very well done and enjoy.
