cheers fenton. the 2 days i've been there it's been dry,,, those rocks might be a bit dodgey when they're weti think a length of rope round the reel tied to the rocks will be the way to go at the weekend. he can pull and haul until it tires it's self out

i also found out that puting the rod but between your legs for extra leverage is'nt the thing to do

almost turns the rod into a see saw with the family jewels on the recieveing end of all the force
