Somewhere in Donegal

Well done on the Donegal Bass a fish of a lifetime for you id say hopefully you will catch plenty more in the future and well done on letting them back to fight another day :lol:

My sisters fella comes from Donegal must head up that way soon. Culdaff I think

By the way Pete what does this mean ?

That definetly looks like a Cork bass, Donegal bass definetly have a more pronounced hump just before the dorsal.

It doesnt make sense as I think all atlantic Bass are the same or is this a new species you read about ? :?

Just checked it out there is only one type of bass in these waters and there isnt any bass like that in Donegal maybe its trout your thinking of as they have a few sub species like the gilaroo rainbow and browntrout :?

Somebody put nthclare out of his misery........ pete was just having a laugh, nthclare, there is no difference........ apart from any fish caught by pete always having the hump....... :D

I was wondering allright as from his posts it seems he knows his fish and has done well in the masters but thanks for correcting the issue so he was just having a laugh well do you know what your a great lad for pointing that out to me thanks :wink:
