first of all i would like to say a big thanks to seanie35 for all of his help over the last few days

we arrived at out chosen mark and had rods in the water for 5 o clock and for the first hour not a bite and we were thinking this might not be our day but then sean arrived and he must have brought the fish with him we had a little chat and he headed off up the beach to set up just as the bites started not great but rod keep noding away for another couple of hours not many hook ups but we did land a couple of very small coalies each on our big bass baits after all thats what we had come for things went slack for another hour but coming onto h.w dave had a nice rattle on his rod and pulled in his first bass of the year 42cm witch made him a very happy man as i was finishing takeing photos of the fish i turned around and seen my rod doing a dance in the tri pod and soon enough i had my first bass of the year 44cm we tought this might be a good run of them but we did not get another fish for the last hour or so over all we were very happy and the trip was worth while and just to finish off once again thank sean and lovly bass

Was a great session and plenty of crack to and as Alan said tanx Sean for the advice and a great waterford mark..... and a lovely mark to fish...and taken on single lug hit the rod like a silver torpedo. Thanks for the grub Alan and boy we made some time on the way home from mark to dropping you of to finglas 2 half hours. By the way had a lovely bass dinner today.. cheers James
