People:17 brave souls
Duration:5 - 9pm
Tide:rising
Weather:Gale force South Westerlay, horizontal rain
Bait:stacks of it
Rigs:The ones you read about in Sea Angler!
Results:2 flounder & plenty of disappointment!
Report:
Weather forecasters got it totally wrong. Fair play to all the lads who fished on in horrible conditions for very little reward, not a side word from anyone!
Brilliant win for Robbie (Trojan) in his first competition, also scooping longest flat pool, a tidy few quid won

Thats why i only took one reel out of the box and that was a fixed spool and one rod to suit trouble free

i had mentioned early on in comp to robbie the trouble lads would have with multies in them conditions

yea john, i was using a diawa windcast, its a nice reel to use and a good cast but i wont be taking it out in them conditions again, too many little holes and gaps where the sand got in and mixed with the greese.
