You were fishing on your own so who took the picture?

I know my local beaches ronan thats why.

and there was a similar fish found dead only a few days ago on what im sure is the same beach,

The fish in the pic has been dead a while for certain.

Just saying as there not much to see in that picture. Must be the colour of the sand.
