b4 anything else...i want to keep this location secret due to protect this fish.got 3hrs to fish b4 fetchin my wee boy from school...grab all frozen bait and decide to use one rod only.this place known as flatfish haven...arrive there i saw one angler in a distance,set up my rod and reel and sandspike.sandeel bait for my 1st cast and after 5 minute resulted one sea trout unhook and release ...second cast using sandeel and macky bait 10minute resulted 2 seatrout so quickly unhook and release the fish...the guy in the distance came over to investigate whats going on and he saw me releasing the fish and he said Y too small?i reply yes and i think you need a license or permit to fished for that...he just smile and walk away after that 3 more seatrout landed and release...biggest fish 13inches

well done on the sea trout i love catching them i had over 90 last year on the fly in a river that i gillie on nice to see them so early well done again

Zeke nice little session haven't had a sea trout yet this year but not really been trying. Haven't fished a beach yet either off tomorrow so will give somewhere a bash , drop us a pm if your spot is close to town and don't mind sharing cheers mike

they dont look as if theyve been hanging round in salt water for too long
and you were correct to tell the other fella that you need a licence to fish for sea trout

thanks mate...yes your right but it's a sea trout alley there i think shame i didn't catch flatfish there at the moment...

great session there zake, its hard to beat a good scrap from a sea trout, well done mate... ps...zake try the sprats (white bait) way cheaper than sandeels, app; 200 per bag for only a few quid and the seatrout go mad for them...

not a great video but you will get the idea, i get them in Donegal catch, and sometimes teso's have them in, but they are not to hard to get. about app; 90% of my seatrout are got on these, they also work well for other species, the turbot love them. keep them in a flask frozen. hope this was of help to you, cheer's...
