Ballyquin fished very well in the days after last weeks southerly winds, plenty of coddling, and painted rays on sandeel eather side of lw. bass on the flood and for 1 hr after hW.
Dungarvan bay, plenty of bass, mostly 2/3lb.catches of 15/20 from the point of cunnigar on lures and metal fish es at all stages of tide. Some fine fish in the lagoon at quanns and at the abbey on peeler at lw.
Fished a new method at helvic last 4 days for 1 hour each day, first day 5 casts 2 bass and missed 3, day 2, 5 casts 4 bass lost 1 at foot.., day 3, 5 casts 2 bass 1 do. day 4, 3 casts 1 bass lost 1 missed1, over the 4 sessions there was prob a total of 50+ other anglers fishin there not 1 of em got a fish......the reef is only 150/200 meters long, fish avg 4.5/5lb best 7lb.

That doesn't surprise me - I reckon you could catch bass in an inch deep muddy puddle!!

Frank, 8) , been using natural bait, mackstrip and razor fished on gigheads or leadless, sameway as u fish xslayers ect, its outfishin all other methods and lures............try it. :wink:

Fishing by the Sulunar.
If u want to catch bass/fish 95% of the time......if u want catch over 100 bass several times a season, "like i do 8) ". if i only fished the best 20 days each season i would expect over 1000 bass...in july this yr fished the same mark 11 times over 900 bass, x2 days ova 150,.. 1 day x2 anglers 200+, 30 over 4lbs. the guy i was guidin had never caught a bass before he ended up wit around 40, inc several bubble shots.

The first 3 Delphi salmon of the year reported on I.F.I today the 8/3/12 (Full Moon) fish were got at 11.00,11.15,11.20, MT. @ 11.12 :shock: :shock:

gotta agree with you on the addition of lunar tables etc to more and more web sites. seems you have educated a few, including myself.
i have been using it regularly and its working for me, just a pity we had a few more of those bigger fellas up north.

theres sum good bass about at the mo, see pic had 9 to 7.5lb saturday and 3 to 8.5 sunday, gettin few between 7/10lb most sessions.
