Doesn't seem as postive a review as the one in sea angler :? hmmm interesting!

That's interesting alright! I'm not trying to take away from the man in any way whatsoever, he is an angling legend, don't get me wrong but I remeber Alan Yates reviewing a Speleo Technics Nova headlight some time back and raving about it, raving! So off I went like a fool and shelled out almost £200 sterling on the greatest heap of s@!t headlight I've have ever stuck on my head. Almost £200! It's still sitting at home, the guys here in my local tackle shop couldn't even shift it for me after... My piont being, don't believe everything you read I guess :-)

I was actually gonna get some after reading the review in Sea Angler but i'm in two minds about it now, But on the other hand you never know unless you try, It's only a fiver and i may be a student but i'm not that cheap :)

well, mate bought some and tried it as he had no fresh lug, and even kept using it for a few weeks after buying it, even though you are meant to use it within a few days of opening it...
so far he has had codling, whiting, , turbot, flounder, dab , and dogfish on it, using it straight or else tipped with a small piece of mackerel
even tested it against fresh lug and the catches were so similar it was hard to tell the difference between them

have now went through a whole pot of it.....and it works!
have caught fish on it, indeed 3 fish on the one worm
but having said that i had no fresh lug to compare it oo, just frozen lug which caught just as many fish

Used it the other night, had a small amount of rag which was still in reasonable shape. The lazy lug took 5 flounder the rag 0.
