Hi
Was wondering if anyone could let me know when mackerel usually arrive around Kerry? Have a week planned mid-May near Waterville. Last year was around Clifden in June and did not see any at all, which left us struggling for bait...
Thanks

Hi Donal - thanks for the reply. Maybe i'm chicken, but looks a bit scary to me.... Will check it out if we have a calm day.

Spent a lot of time in Kerry Last summer on the north coast though and did not see mackerel in any good numbers at all. Saying that i was catching the odd few from may weekend on wards but they where few and far between.
