for any meteorological fans in the club, the below link is one of the best new projects i've seen in a long time.

World wide view
http://earth.nullschool.net/

It gives a much better visual display of live worldwide weather systems to aid in making your own forecasting predictions. It gives everything from pressure system movements, wind speed, SST info and even the ocean currents. We even have a big display of this in our own operations centre in work and i've been checking it against the likes of Wind Guru, Met and Magic Seawind and the accuracy is spot on.

just doubleclick on Ireland to start zooming in and if you click on a particular (i.e Dublin, Wexford, Kerry) area you can get the exact location info. if you click the earth button it brings up a menu to change the displayed info too (currents, temp, wind, SST, etc).
