Hey guys,
Im just after buying a spinning rod that has 30g lure size printed on, sorry for the silly question but if there is a limit on the lure you cast is there a limit on what size fish you could bring in on this too? Or whats the general story

Within reason you should be grand for most fish like bass, pollock etc that you'd be spinning for. As long as you have a way of landing the fish without relying on using the strength of the rod to haul it up a rockface or pier wall etc. It's about average in terms of casting weight for a lure rod
Enjoy
