Drifting or at anchor for flats?

Just wondering what different anglers experiences have been when fishing for Plaice and Dabs. Best at anchor or best drifting. I suspect a very slow drift would be ideal, any thoughts?

I'm no expert but today I drifted for flats for the first time(usually at anchor)and had great fun as your in constant contact with the rod

I love drift fishing for flats, it's a lovely way to catch them. In my experience anchoring is more effective in strong current.

I would normally drift for Plaice and Anchor for Dabs, flounder and Ray
