Make your own Mackerel feathers

Know it's only february,but stumbled upon this the other day, works pretty well, got most the stuff required on ebay for little or nothing,made a few already.
figured time to make em now, have em all sorted for Mackie bashing time :P

Been doing this myself for years and years. Used to use strips of silvered plastic packaging, but now use use silver gift wrap cord from Eason's, it lasts longer. Great satisfaction from catching with self-made tackle.

Shouldnt this be under Tips and Tricks?
