WOW dude, I would have loved to see that. My biggest is about 10cm...

But I can swear by bling.... Bright beads and spinners. anything to attract them because they sit hidden on the sand waiting for the pray to swim by but if they see something they like they will move close to investigate... I sometimes use a 2 hook flapper with loads of beads on the snood and 2 spinners for attraction and that works a charm. Bait depends on where your fishing.

Any preference for a particular colour of bead ? Would this change with clear or murky water ?
Cheers

one up one down rig, i like to use a plain lead and if its not moving give it a twitch every now and then, flatfish are just sitting around waiting to ambush food as it passes alot of the time so try to cover more ground,a lead bouncing off the sea bed will send out vibrations for a long way and attract fish :wink:i like to use a floating bead as it gives the bait a bit more movement the white ones with red spots work well and glow in the dark too .
