I tried this a couple of times this year and Managed one Tope to 30lb. I was sliding a full mackerel about 120 yards. 0.35 main line and a Tapered Shock leader to 80lb. The Shock leader was roughed up a bit, so only one per Fish. Great fight is the shallow water. Luckily the fish ran at me rather that away, but it did breach a few times during the fight... Real adrenalin rush.. I'll try it a couple more times before the winter kicks in. I'll pop a pick up later.
