After leaving a bit of gear in the car after a session then forgetting about if for a few days the interior of the car now smells something awful,
Is there an easy way to get rid of the smell or am I just gonna need to get a truck load of magic trees?

I find a peeled chopped onion works best (leave it over night, sometimes they go black which is supposed to be a great sign of getting rid of bacteria), even works with cigarette smoke, also leaving the cars windows open on drives big help!, before I go out now I throw a blanket down (an old one the mrs doesnt want!!! not the good one on the bed.... trust me not worth the hassle!!!)
and throw the fishin gear on it helps keeps the sand off the boot of the car, and cuts down the smell, then just a quick wash (throw in the hand rags as well) and your good to go! And after a session your mrs wants to head out, she wont notice the smell that much (hopefully)

Tis all good now, smell has finally gone, for just now anyway..... Onion trick seemed to work and as much as i wanted to try out the chips and vinegar tip i figured it would just make me hungry, have since gotten a couple of boot liners from lidl so the boot and the back seats are now covered, just need to make sure i dont get lazy and leave stuff in the car over night again......... cant say im overly confident about that tho.....

your not getting your hands REALLY SMELLY if that stuff works
a scrubbing brush and washing up liquid works a treat use cold water as hot water seems to make the smell worse?if you have any cuts make sure to put a bit of antiseptic cream on them when you are finished as its very easy to get a bad infection in such open wounds
(doctors and anti biotics dont come cheap
)

Nearly the same as roger way of getting the hands clean but I use washing powder and cold water and a clean towel works for me.....

I find mine works, but only after decent scrubbing with Cold Water and washing up liquid with sugar, and it exfoiliates the skin

try using fast orange soap,it has lots of grit in it and leaves a nice orange smell,it comes in a soap despencer and can be found in auto parts shops as lots of mechanics use it to remove grease from their hands.
