hi shambo. thanks for that its what i was looking for. :) .when i tied it {5times} and tightened it up it slipped on the main line. I'm using stren 50lb for the main line and varivas 18lb for the knot. is it the line I'm using that's letting it slip ?. any more help?. :)

I use sakuma powergum for stop knots, it grips the line far better. I use it in place of crimps to keep my srt springs in place on my rigs.

power gum is your only man for stopknots its stretchy and makes a great knot.if u want to make ur rigs adjustable you can use the bait stop beads very handy for adjusting the position of your snoods

the rubber float stops are good, i use to use them before i used crimps, i use'd the medium ones as the big ones were too loose, i put two on together and they lock against each other.

If i'm using stopknots instead of crimps I usually use powergum, but I also tie a mono stop knot of about 10/15lb underneath the bottom stop knot. So, basically I have one stop knot above the swivel and two below, this is more for clipped down rigs to minimise the slipping though!

I also came across a swivel with an adjustable crimp either side of it, all in one piece, in my local tackle shop but never took much of a look at it, anyone else came across these or used them??
