The rubber sleeve slides on over a thin conical "pin" rather than an eye.

I'm just sorry our local in Belfast has none leftHandy for all the miscellaneous bits and their predator lure set looked like it would be worth a go.

I didnt see the type of net they had this time around, but i did get one about 3 years ago and when i went to swing it to dry it off after washing slime from it, the net and top bar plus fixings took off like a rocket leaving me holding the butt![]()
i solved this prob by putting epoxy in and over the joints, and the net is still going strong 3 years on,
which is more then i can say for the one i bought for fresh water fishing from a tackle dealer in town, this one seized up after a couple of outings,
I reckon the reason for the lidl nets fixings fail was the glue and salt water reaction, but as i say its still as new now and works fine.

So they do exist in places other then Lidl,
I’m not even going to ask where you got the link but I did go to the link site and seen they do a few different sizes,
The only thing I can think of after looking at the site is that I should put the rubber onto the main line and fix the swivel part to the float, then it would act as an adjustable float depth thingy,
To save you having to use beads and stop knots to hold the float in place,
GFKelly, I think you got it this time, did any setup come into your mind on how it should be used other then the one I’m thinking about,![]()
Another idea has come to mind… that is when you want to free line a big bait a good distance downtide, you could fix the clip onto your rig swivel then lightly trap a bit of line that’s tied to a balloon then when the bait is over the area that hold TOPEyou could give a quick yank on the line to free the bait from the balloon
The possibilities are endless… good thinking lidl![]()

i see lidl getting a lot of slagging about their stuff but they are the only people that i can see introducing new types of tacklemann wrote:The possibilities are endless… good thinking lidl![]()

I'm gonna use this bit of kit for mullet this year and also at a wee rudd lake that I know.
Hi Nobuzz,
Good idea that, taking the link off to make it lighter for other uses.
Also, did you notice that the photo on the box doesn't match the way the swivels are actually set-up! The rubber sleeve is reversed.
