crab best frozen or fresh

does it really matter wheater the crab is fresh,live or frozen which is the best for ray,smoothys and bass

How Ya Brian, for most people fresh and live is usually preferred, that said frozen bait catches plenty of fish too!

If you can get fresh do so, if not good frozen stuff will be fine.
