i am sure i read this somewhere before? you can use a video cassette box to store sea flies/lures in. just fit them with the appropriately sized piece of plastic foam. get the fit right and it will keep itself in place. can also be used to store plugs.
you can also use the cases/boxes supplied with aftershaves and soaps, you know the ones you get around christmas time! choose a size that fit's into your pocket and off you go!

thats a really god tip... it might even be better to use a DVD-cover for that... takes less space in jacketpocket, its thinner.

DVD cases are available quite cheap as well. Might be a bit slim for some flies but I think the cheaper ones have a bit more room.
