Very useful tool for finding places, ie how to get down to the shore. Zoom in and see how detailed it is.

Great site for spotting the rough ground on some of the beaches.

Just checked out greystones north beach, were I fished for the 1st time a month ago. I now know which parts of the beach are clean ground :D

Thanks very much Peter.

Mark

PS, maybe the mods could sticky this

Thats a great resource. Great for seeing the clean ground between the rocks as Shamoo mentioned.

Click on the Ortho 2005 for the best quality aerial photos.

Just identified a whole bunch of new marks that I will have to try.

Thats a very useful link alright Peter I hadn't seen that one before, here are a few more I use myself.

Virtual earth is excellent if they have the "Birdseye view" in the area you are interested in. Its by far the best free aerial photography resource but its coverage is quite limited.
http://maps.live.com/

Everyone knows this one, the quality of image varies depending on the area but its generally quite good.
http://maps.google.com/

This is a handy little site that combines google, yahoo etc aerial photo resources into one handy interface that allows you to switch between the sources and see which one covers the area best.
